  • Continue funding local agencies that effectively encourage independent living, wellness, dignity, and quality of life for McHenry County seniors

  • Support law enforcement, including the McHenry County Sheriff’s Social Worker Program and the Regional Training Center

  • Advocate for McHenry County’s Specialty Courts, which provide opportunities for offenders to move on from our court system and successfully re-enter the community

  • Build on efforts to train and re-equip displaced workers facing barriers to the labor market

  • Increase paratransit service levels to improve access to goods and services for individuals facing mobility challenges
